GUARANTEE
As a breeder I consider the improvement of
the level of breeding of PMA a vital task. I am therefore committed to give the
puppy buyer a personal breeder's guarantee. I will refund 50 per cent of the
price of the puppy or provide a new puppy free of charge (at a mutually agreed
time) if the dog tests with an official hip dysplasia score of D or E, or an
elbow dysplasia score of 2 or 3. The hips and the elbows of the dog must be
x-rayed when the dog is between 18 and 24 months of age and the result must be
certified as an official result according to the rules in the puppy buyer's home
country, unless the veterinarian suspects a serious hip or elbow dysplasia
earlier. In this case the owner must inform the breeder about these suspicions
before x-raying, which must be performed by a competent veterinarian.
The guarantee is given only if the dog is owned by the puppy buyer at the moment when the official HD and/or ED result is announced.
In other issues I will adhere to the terms of the sales contract issued by the
Finnish Kennel Club.
